Advertiser & Lending Disclosure

OpenRoad Lending is a free loan-matching service, not a lender: we earn compensation from the lenders in our network when we connect them with borrowers, you never pay us a fee, and every loan decision, rate, and term is set solely by the lender that makes the offer.

What OpenRoad Lending Is — and Is Not

OpenRoad Lending operates this website and a matching service that connects consumers seeking auto repair financing with a network of licensed third-party lenders offering unsecured personal installment loans from $500 to $5,000. We are not a lender, we do not make credit decisions, we do not set rates or terms, and we do not broker loans in states where doing so requires a license we do not hold. Submitting a request through our form is not an application for credit with us; it is a request to be matched with lenders who may extend an offer.

How We Earn Money

Our service is free to consumers. We are compensated by the lenders and marketing partners in our network, typically when a consumer's request is matched to a lender or when a matched request results in a funded loan. This compensation may influence which lenders receive your request and the order in which matches occur. It does not influence the editorial content of our guides, which follow the standards described on our About page, and it never adds any cost to your loan.

About the Offers You May See

Any offer you receive comes directly from a lender, which is solely responsible for its terms. APRs available through network lenders generally range from the high teens up to 35.99%, with terms commonly between 3 and 36 months; your actual rate depends on the lender's evaluation of your credit profile, income, state of residence, and other factors. Representative example: a $2,000 loan repaid over 12 months at 24% APR costs approximately $189 per month, or about $2,269 in total. All figures on this website are estimates for education; your loan agreement controls. Not all applicants will qualify, approval is never guaranteed, and lenders may verify your information through credit bureaus and other providers, which can include a hard inquiry if you proceed with an offer.

State Availability

Loan products, amounts, rates, and terms vary by state, and our service is not available in every state. The matching process automatically limits your request to lenders licensed at your address. Nothing on this site is an offer or solicitation to lend in any state where the relevant lender is not authorized to do business.

Not Financial Advice

The content on this website — including cost guides, calculators, comparisons, and reviews — is provided for general education and does not constitute financial, legal, or tax advice. Repair pricing reflects typical ranges and varies by vehicle, region, and shop. Consider your own circumstances, and consult a qualified professional where appropriate, before making borrowing decisions.
